Observations - Someone is watching you!
An observation is a research method where data is collected by watching participants and recording their behaviour. It can also be used as a technique to collect data within another method (e.g. Bandura used observation of the children's behaviour with the Bobo doll within his laboratory experiment and Rosenhan's pseudopatients used participant observation). Data collected can be qualitative and / or quantitative. Observations are used with both humans and animals.
